From the Fall 2011 newsletter, President's Message:

The demographics are transitioning toward more permanent residents and families with children.  You can see the change looking at full elementary school and high school buses at Cascade Shores bus stops.
 
The Board has worked hard this year to provide activities that reflect these changes. We instituted Wednesday night BBQ Potlucks for the months of June, July, and August at Lost Mine Lake.  These evenings provided an opportunity to meet new members -- adults and kids.  Friday nights in July, CSWC and CSHA co-sponsored movie nights, popcorn and drinks included.  Heather Galvin showed family-type movies in the parking lot of the Firehouse.  We also did a Family Picnic....
