"Retiring President's Message . . . Movin' On"

My wife and I moved to Cascade Shores six years ago, retiring from careers in the Bay Area. Since that time, I've been actively involved in the CSHA serving as the CERT coordinator, board member, and as President for the last two years. I became President out of concern over our budget that seemed unable to keep up with rising expenses and challenges. Fortunately, that "hole" has been plugged, and we've even started to build an emergency reserve. At the time of our Annual Meeting, April 3, I will be stepping down and handing the job over to a new President and board. PLEASE COMPLETE THE ENCLOSED BALLOT AND RETURN (with your dues) NO LATER THAN APRIL 1. It looks like the next board will be composed of a good mix of new people along with experienced hands.
